Health care workers are on the front-line in the fight against Super Bugs. THANK YOU for all the work you do to help make our health care system safe for the public. You are Super Heroes.

CUPE represents over 11,000 health care workers in Manitoba, and we’re helping take-on the fight against Super Bugs.

Healthcare Associated Infections can affect health care workers, make you sick, and impacts your work life.

CUPE met with the WRHA Infection Control & Prevention department to talk about what we can do, as union, to raise awareness on HAIs in our workplace.

We want to help the public understand the impacts of HAIs on your day-to-day work, and help stop the spread of infections at work.

We know that HAIs can hurt you at work, and we’re doing our best to help prevent the spread!

Governments in other provinces are privatizing important services like laundry and cleaning, means less training, lower wages, higher staff turnover and increased risk of HAI transmission.

Let’s take action to stop the spread of HAIs by rejecting privatization!

We need you to help fight superbugs at your workplace!
